POSITIVE IMAGE DANCE INSTRUCTORS
MS. AMELIA BURKEY- OWNER/DIRECTOR
Ms. Amelia started dancing when she was 2.5 years old at Daryl Jervis Dance Studio. While dancing she studied Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Ballet and Pointe. Her favorite style is Tap! She has had the opportunity to study with the New York City Rockettes. Since high school, Ms. Amelia has had multiple teaching jobs at various dance studios, teaching all different styles. She joined the Positive Image teaching staff in 2017. Her favorite dance she has every choreographed was a Jazz piece to Footloose. Outside of teaching in a studio, Ms. Amelia has 15 years of choreographing Northwood High School's Spring musical. Ms. Amelia is continuously looking for ways to improve the abilities of her dancers and keep classes fun.
MS. ASHLEY FOLLEY- This is Ms. Ashley's 11th year teaching at Positive Image Dance Studio. She is a choreographer for the Positive Image Dance Team. Ms. Ashley started dancing at a very young age and her passion continues to grow. Besides dance, she is also knowledgeable in tumbling and acro.
MS. GRACE GREGORY- Ms. Grace is in her 8th year with the Positive Image family this year and is super excited to continue her adventure teaching. Ms. Grace is a
choreographer for the Positive Image Dance Team. She danced for 15 years before graduating high school. She has studied Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical and Hip Hop. She is also the Mom to a beautiful little girl who will be joining us in the dance studio one danY!
